Join us for a fun and beginner-friendly sewing class where you'll learn how to create your own basic tote bag from start to finish! This hands-on workshop is perfect for beginners or anyone looking to refresh their sewing skills while creating something practical and unique.
During the class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of tote bag construction, including fabric preparation, stitching, and assembling your bag.

Cost: $35 per person
💛 $5 from every ticket will be donated to the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center.
What to Bring
½ yard outer fabric
½ yard lining fabric
Corresponding thread for your fabric
Your sewing machine (optional)
If you purchase your fabric from Seams Sewing and Mercantile, you will receive 20% off your fabric purchase for the workshop.
Don't have a sewing machine? No problem! A limited number of machines will be available to use during the class.
